User-Agent: hgdsajh Build Identifier: Mozilla/2.0.0.5 I Can't install any new Versions, although I'm Admin... I installed a new Version by myself, but it didn't work (it wanted to update too, but again the problem with the rights) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.wait untill Firefox opens a pop-up window (the one for the updates [happens too if Firefox installs automatically]) 2.klick install now / later 3.wait untill Firefox installs Actual Results: small window opens, tells me, I should close all the other applications or be the Admin (there's no other application) Expected Results: Firefox should be updated
Group: security
Component: Installer → Software Update
QA Contact: installer → software.update
If you have admin privs then the other reason for getting that error is that some other process is keeping one of the Firefox shared files open. You'll probably need individual help from http://www.mozilla.org/support/#community to sort this out, and only then can we determine if this is something wrong with Firefox or something anti-social about that other program.
