(Whiteboard: [search])

It would be nice if we could search by part of a URL as well as the entire thing.

This would be a private tool in the admin panel.

Will our new search just solve this, as planned? Or should we punt to 2.1?

This is technically possible, it would just require a special mapping and some new options in the search API. The main problem is the URL doesn't seem to be indexed in the processed json, so I cannot access this data.

Now possible with supersearch for admin users. For example: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/search/?date=%3C%3D2013-10-02+10%3A00%3A00&url=facebook&product=Firefox&_facets=signature&_facets=url

(Check the "Url facet" tab to verify. )
