This is something clever that at least Camino does, IIRC.

Situation: You have a currently-unused tab which is focused in Firefox. You're reading a mail, where there's a link. You click it, and it opens in Firefox.

Actual result:

A new tab is opened for the link, even though the current tab is unused.

Expected result:

Why not use the current tab, which is apparently blank?
