COMMAND+click items on the Bookmarks Toolbar opens that item in a new tab, middle-click the same item also opens the item in a new tab.
COMMAND+click bookmark folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar exposes the folder's contents (similar to left-click). Middle-click the same folder opens the folder's contents in new tabs.
These should be reconciled.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create folder of bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar and populate with > 1 bookmark
2. Command-click on this bookmark folder
3. Menu item displays folder's contents
4. Middle-click on this bookmark folder
5. Folder's contents open in new tabs
Actual Results:
Command-click displays folder's contents in a menu item, middle-click opens folder contents in a new tab
Expected Results:
Both actions should result in opening folder contents in new tabs, similar to result of these actions on an individual bookmark item on the toolbar

That's not completely working with Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008041804 Minefield/3.0pre
Using Cmd+Click on a Bookmarks Toolbar folder its content is opened in new tabs but at the same time the folders content is displayed within a sub menu (like a left-click). So we have a different behavior at least on OS X. The user has to manually click away the sub menu which is bothersome.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".
In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.
Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
