In certain timezones (for example Africa/Ceuta), the recurrence info uploaded to Google is not returned correctly. While this seems to be a Google bug, the consequence is that deleting single occurrences of recurring events adds an EXDATE for the correct time, but since the time is shifted, the EXDATE time does not match the event time.

Tracking the Google bug here, also I am open for workarounds.

I can confirm that when using Provider for Calendar (in Lightning), a couple of repeating events did not import (tried it twice). My local is GMT+10 (Aus). Furthermore, when I imported another calendar, some quite old repeating appointments (long since deleted) were dredged up - in fact, not just one, but five of them in the same day and timeslot (ie., repeats)

I've since discovered that the later 'phantom' repeating event that imported incorrectly was some kind of DD-MM DD-MM inversion issue: in Google Calendar the date was "1st April" (1/4 here in Aus) but it imported [incorrectly] as "4th January" (4/1)

There has been a major rewrite of the Provider for Google Calendar between version 0.32 and 1.0. A vast number of bugs have been fixed during this rewrite, therefore I am closing lots of old bugs that I think might either be fixed or no longer apply to the latest version.

Please read the updated FAQ [1] for details on known issues. If you can reproduce your issue with the latest version of the Provider for Google Calendar and you can't find an existing bug that handles your case, please reopen this issue.
