When you write text, after some number of symbols it automatically passes to the next line. There's two wrong things about this:

1. It doesn't actually insert the \n symbol, so that when the text is copied, it still remains a one line.

2. When I use TABs to indent the first line it doesn't automatically apply to the next line.

Do you think this can be fixed?

I don't know how you connect those two, but... 2) isn't going to happen anytime soon, though you can probably make a template and put in suitable css to do it (for html mails). 

About 1), of course it soft wraps to next line, nobody likes doing manual line breaks.
