User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8pre) Gecko/20071023 Sunbird/0.7 Goal: Save the calendar in common location on a shared file system where it can be accessed from different machines I may be using. Method: Not clear. The file method has "new" and "open" operations, but no "Save As". I tried "export", but when I then opened the version I exported, I got two sets of events. There is a "publish" operation, that creates an ics file too. But it's not clear what the difference is between that and "export". In any case, I would like to share a calendar file without having to publish it first. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: The program doesn't seem to be set up with this desirable functionality in mind. (Although it is *sterling* in every other respect, so I hope this will become an RFE. Or perhaps I'm missing something, which would be even better.) Expected Results: I'd like the calendar program to treat the .ics file the same way an editor treats a text file: a) Use Save As to store in some fixed location b) Open with multiple editors, if desired c) When needed, pop a dialog that asks "the file has changed, do you want to reload?"
