What Flash version do you use (see Help->About Plug-Ins)?
(In reply to comment #1) > What Flash version do you use (see Help->About Plug-Ins)? Hi, i'm using flash in version 9.0.115.0. The problem seems to be the same with other flash-versions, as discussed in the german newsgroup de.c.s.m.b mid: <flu4ne$a1u$1@news.albasani.net> mid: <4783BF6F.8000707@rainerullrich.de>

Except for the Gecko version, this sounds a lot like bug 319857.
Martin, Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9 ? Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v2.0a1pre (which has a crash reporter) ? (In reply to comment #2) > i'm using flash in version 9.0.115.0. Try newer 9.0.124.0, fwiw.
Version: unspecified → SeaMonkey 1.1 Branch
(1 month later) No (more) reply from reporter. R.Incomplete Reopen if you can reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9.

Sorry for answering late, I can reproduce the bug with seamonkey 1.1.9 and flash version 9.0 r124. Seamonkey crashes as well, but now it will show an error message: seamonkey has detected a problem and has to be terminated. Message in the windows log is (in German language): Ereignisquelle: Application Error Ereigniskategorie: Keine Ereigniskennung: 1000 Datum: 10.06.2008 Zeit: 22:19:30 Benutzer: Nicht zutreffend Computer: xxx Beschreibung: Fehlgeschlagene Anwendung seamonkey.exe, Version 1.8.20080.31312, fehlgeschlagenes Modul gkplugin.dll, Version 1.8.20080.31312, Fehleradresse 0x00002e80.

Since it's been a while, could I ask you to try more recent versions of SeaMonkey and Flash and see if the issue persists? If all is well, please mark this bug worksforme.
please report results with flash v10.

I have tested this on some different Systems (Windows XP and Win2k) with SeaMonkey 1.1.16 and Flashplayer Plugin 10.0.22.87. The Flash-Context-Menu works fine without Crash using the current Release and Flashplayer. Because I have tested this on four different Systems I will close this now as "worksforme", but feel free to reopen, if you can reproduce this crash with the current Sm and Flashplayer Versions.
