Firefox sometimes shows following error message while trying to save downloading file:
[path to file] could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder.
Change the folder properties and try again, or try saving to different location.
Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce
Steps to Reproduce:
This bug appears after when I try to save downloaded file to directory other that last download dir. It happens only when I open FF and start downloading some file to directory different than last one. 2nd and next attempts always succeed, no matter to which dir I want to download file.
I have admin rights on my computer, and don't have such problems with another software, so this is not a problem with insufficient rights.

I'm not sure if this is the same bug, but this happened to me when the permissions of the download folder changed (due to the drive it's in being unmounted).
Even though I had it set to always ask where to save files, it tries to save the part in the configured download folder, thus preventing any downloads until the downloads folder is accessible again or the downloads directory is changed.
Very frustrating when using a laptop with not much storage space internally and a downloads folder on an external drive that I have unmounted frequently.
