I am reporting this from a pure user stand point, so it maybe that the error is already reported else where, but I could not tell by reading what is there.

In this page I am sending, and often within the website www.oglobo.com.br, they use small little windows based on flash, which then flickers very badly. The funny thing about it, is that as soon as you scroll the website to the point where this little window "touches" the border of the caminno window, the flickering stops.

Well, I do hope I was able to explain the problem and that you guys are able to get it fixed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. if the link I sent already expired, try www.oglobo.com.br
2. this little window within the website is used for advertising. If not in the first page, then normally within one article is there.

Actual Results:  
This flash animation just flickers badly. Bad enough to even disturb the reading...


Once you find the flickering little bugger, youy may want to try scrolling up/down and eventually you get the little window to stop flickering... funny

I can't reproduce this in a recent branch nightly, but I also don't see any little "Flash windows" on the page.

Hi there...

thanks for the feedback. Well, it is not in all windows from oglobo you have this flash little window in the middle, but it is in almost all. Sometimes, for some reason, instead of flickering, it just doesn't show anything.

You can try looking at the same page with Safari then with camino. I just tried the following window and it is there, this little flash animation in the middle, flickering with camino and doing what was supposed to do with safari.

I see the problem now with that last link (when I disable ad-blocking and Flashblock).  However, the ads animate at an appropriate, flicker-free speed on the trunk.

As it's either a plug-ins bug or a widget bug, there's almost no chance of it getting fixed on branch, so I'm going to close this WORKSFORME on the trunk.
