User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; ja; rv:1.8.1.10) Gecko/20071213 Fedora/2.0.0.10-3.fc8 Firefox/2.0.0.10 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008011412 Fedora/3.0b3pre-0.beta2.10.nightly20080113.fc9 Minefield/3.0b3pre Fedora firefox3 does not startup in Japanese with the Japanese langpack installed. Instead a XUL error dialog pops up. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8 firefox Actual Results: Xul error dialog appears showing: XML パースエラー: 定義されていない実体が使用されています。 URL: chrome://browser/content/browser.xul 行番号: 185, 列番号: 5: <key id="key_errorConsole" key="&errorConsoleCmd.commandkey;" oncommand="toJavaScriptConsole();" modifiers="accel,shift"/> ----^ Expected Results: No error dialog and firefox to startup normally. I tried also with the latest ja.xpi langpack from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk-l10n/linux-xpi/ja.xpi and still get the same problem.
XML Parse Error Like this always happen when en-US file is updated (and ja is not latest). Thanks reporting, but using compare-locale script, we can aucomatically check entities which is not in ja but in en-US. Of cource already solved during l10n update. -> RESOLVED/FIXED
