User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11
When already running, I can't click on a link in a mail or on firefox icon to open a new window. I get the infamous "firefox already running but not responding" error message.
I'm aware of the "parentlock" file, there is one when firefox starts (which is right) and it is being deleted on exit.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click on firefox icon to open a first browser window
2.Click again to open a second window --> error
Actual Results:
"firefox already running but not responding"
Expected Results:
Should open a new window.

This works for me.
- double click on C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
- double click on C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
gives me two windows.

..as it should, as I'm getting on my other computers, or even on the same computer with the admin account, for example (I already tried to make this user an administrator just to see if there was a difference ; there isn't)

no feedback?
I'd really like to help fix this, but I think I'd go back to IE7, which works better for me, until I have a solution.

Yannick, still see this in FF 3.5?
iirc some of these issues were fixed in v3. and what's left is better described in other bugs.
