Go to Places Organizer 2. Right-click on a folder and click "Properties" 3. Rename the folder Actual Results: The folder, whilst renamed (right-click again to demonstrate) is not graphically changed. Expected Results: The folder should be graphically changed. Not necessary. No extra themes or special things about computer configuration, I hope.

Yes, I see this as well and could not find a dupe of this bug in the open Places bug. Seen on Mac as well, using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008012104 Minefield/3.0b3pre. The folder name does change if I close the Bookmarks organizer and the relaunch it.

Slightly different steps to reproduce but this is most likely a dupe of bug 409055. Folder name changes made anywhere should dynamically update everywhere that folder appears. Duping this to the older bug. I then change the summary to reflect what I stated above.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
