PNG is redrawn. However, this redrawing takes place after the background colours are already drawn on screen. This causes the whole PNG to flicker. On the page at the attached URL, you can see lots of flicker around the scuba diver when you scroll up and down (and this gets worse if you scroll faster by dragging the scroll bar). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the page. 2. Scroll the page fast. Actual Results: The background colour around the scuba diver flickers very badly. Expected Results: No flicker.
I see flicker with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:126.96.36.199) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/188.8.131.52 But no flicker with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008012104 Minefield/3.0b3pre ID:2008012104 Please test with firefox 3.0beta2 or a nightly trunk build and confirm you also no longer see the problem.

Not that I believe you on your word, but I can't see it yet. * The nightly trunk build doesn't work for me at all - it either can't find any hosts (maybe because it can't load the libraries in the mozilla directory), or it doesn't like libgnomebreakpad (because it's ELFCLASS64, and not ELFCLASS32). * The installer doesn't work - it doesn't seem to be able to download anything. * The trunk FTBFS for me, due to linker errors in xpcom. I guess I'll try it later.
A WFM including myself on latest nightly. Build Info: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008012104 Minefield/3.0b3pre Reporter can reopen if/when tested on nightly.
