Created attachment 298361 [details] dtruss log of program run I followed the install instructions on http://chatzilla.rdmsoft.com/xulrunner/, but with a 21 Jan 2008 XULRunner build from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/xulrunner/nightly/latest-trunk/. Gijs says this should work. :) XULRunner seems to have installed fine, as did Chatzilla --install-app step. I have a Chatzilla.app under /Applications now, with Chatzilla stuff in it, albeit with jsut the generic OS X Application icon. Clicking the icon doesn't seem to do anything. Running it from the commandline gives: Applications $ ChatZilla.app/Contents/MacOS/xulrunner Couldn't load XPCOM. Watching it with "dtruss -n xulrunner" shows the following (trimmed) just before it fails: stat("/Applications/ChatZilla.app/Contents/MacOS/XUL\0", xxx, xxx) = -1 Err#2 stat("@executable_path/XUL\0", xxx, xxx) = -1 Err#2 stat("/Users/dolske/lib/XUL\0", xxx, xxx) = -1 Err#2 stat("/usr/local/lib/XUL\0", 0xBFFFE188, 0xBFFFC86C) = -1 Err#2 stat("/usr/lib/XUL\0", 0xBFFFE188, 0xBFFFC86C) = -1 Err#2 I see earlier access to /Library/Frameworks/XUL.framework, so it looks like something doesn't know where to look later on. Full dtruss log attached.
Seems to be fixed now. On a whim, I installed the latest xulrunner nightly + chatzilla, and it worked without any problem.
