When using Firefox 3 Beta 2 I can not use the shorthand feature in Spell Catcher 10.2.3.

Example: In a username space on a secure site I enter a shorthand from Spell Catcher, say I enter 12 in order to get 12345, the response from Spell Catcher is 1212345+some Asian appearing characters.

I contacted the author of Spell Catcher about this bug and he was able to reproduce the problem. Part of the communication to me from Spell Catcher went like this:

"This is probably the worst kind of text input bug that any application can
possibly have. Suppressing keystrokes in such a way that input methods never
get to handle them is the #1 cardinal sin.

The Firefox folks must fix this, and both of us should report it via their
"official" channels. I doubt a forum is the place for such a report - they
probably have some sort of bug tracker."

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

You would need to use a text entry program like Spell Catcher to reproduce.
