User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071127 Firefox/2.0.0.11 when i get to a page that has a text box in IE you just type in Firefox you have to click the box or quick find takes over, I never use quick find, is there a way to disable it? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open a window with a text box 2.start typing 3.quick find takes the typing not the text box Actual Results: quic find takes the text Expected Results: i stop and physically type in the text box it should know that the 1st textbox is the default not quick find
Preferences > Advanced > General > "Search for text when I start typing"? Can you give an example of a web page where IE automatically focuses the first textbox but Firefox doesn't? Or is this a bug where focus appears to be in the textbox but typing incorrectly triggers quickfind anyway?
