i need to remove a file from tinderbox qm-win2k3-01: we're currently getting permission denied when a unit test tries to remove the places.sqlite file.

Found two instances of the file and dropped both into the trash can.

So, that didn't help at all. Please completely shutdown buildbot, kill all processes related to it, restart buildbot, and force a build. Might help to even reboot the box between stopping and starting buildbot to make sure everything is really dead.

better yet, follow the docs, if that doesn't work, escalate.  reed - thanks for the instructions but we have docs build/qa has asked us to follow - we'll use those for support, as we are just doing tier one support.

Killed off buildbot but there are about 40-50 make.exe processes laying around and about the same number of sh.exe and the cmd shell that's open won't exit or quit, even through task manager (so I can't get buildbot to logout).  

Can't find an administrative login that works so I'm flipping the power switch.

Been rebooted now and I restarted buildbot after following the docs on blowing away the trunk dir.
