When visiting pages in some live bookmark feed the favicon does not update making it hard to see what sites from the list you have visited. Other feeds update OK.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://news.bbc.co.uk/
2. Click on RSS icon in address bar, add bookmarks toolbar menu
3. Click on a page from the list
Actual Results:  
Blank favicon is not updated

Expected Results:  
BBC favion visible

Some sites do seem to update. E.g. http://www.grandprix.com and http://newsbusters.org. Lots of other sites do not, E.g. http://news.bbc.co.uk http://www.theregister.co.uk

As for regression range only vauge I am afraid. Works in the official Firefox 3 Beta 2 release (2007-12-18?) but does not work in the oldest trunk I could find Minefield 2007-25-04

Bug 400544 seems to have caused this.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body   contains   places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
