Looks like we're no longer syncing the FTP area after it's created; I patched master.cfg but maybe this should go in the Makefile instead?

Also, I think we could speed things up quite a bit if we started having e.g. /home/ftp.clean and re-synced on each run, instead of taking the time to download everything again (like what we do for the cvsmirror).

However, this patch just does the bare minimum to get it working so we can get trouble-free staging runs ASAP :) This makes updateVerify fail, currently.

Ah, you're absolutely right. It was removed when I added the prestageFactory because I thought it wasn't needed anymore; I forgot that it did more than delete things!
