It appear different from IE

I don't see any difference with Mozilla branch. Why do you think there is a relation to bug 405728?
It seems to me that is a bug or limitation with the bevel.js script, not doing the same in IE as in Firefox.
So, afaict now, this bug is invalid.

As Martijn said, this code is looking for IE and giving it its own bevel. The code is different for IE and Firefox. This bug is INVALID and certainly not related to bug 405728.

Yes, concur INVALID.  IE does not support canvas; from looking at those two images, the IE version also appears quite broken.
