Details

If you right click on a mail/news message a context menu appears, but if you right-click on another mail when the old context menu is still shown, nothing happens. I have to press two times right click. One time to remove the old context menu og one time to show the new one. Expected: When right clicking the context menu appear. It shouldn't matter if the context menu is already shown.

The same problem occurs on Win98, Linux 6.0, Mac 9.04
this is happening in all tree widgets including the bookmarks windows so I don't think it's a mail bug. Reassigning to pinkerton.

according to comments in bug 24482, german has decided that the current behavior is what we want. resolving as wontfix.

I must say that I strongly disagree. Right-clicking on when the context menu is active should give me another context menu! Having to first dismiss the first context menu is just plain stupid.
