Drag and drop is only supported on local file systems ======= The desktop certainly is a local file system. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Drag tab to desktop (GNOME) Actual Results: Error Expected Results: A desktop file created with a URL shortcut, or something along those lines.

This was reported much earlier than the bug this is duped to, but I'm hoping the other one will get traction.

True, but the behavior referenced here has been subsumed by the behavior from that bug.
