41522 - missing menu item?

first let me state that I'm a linux newebie.  I just installed M15 with
talkback.  One item Is still find missing:
Edit?preferences/mail and news groups/ IDENTITY

When I first installed PR1, I accidently misspelled my name and could not find a
away to change it.  Where do I enter pop and smtp server INFO? I realize this is
a work in progress, but wouldn't this info be essential?

marking INVALID
the identity settings are in a separate part from preferences
Edit -> Account Settings (this option is only available from within a mail/news
window)
