User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20070914 Mandriva/2.0.0.11-1.1mdv2008.0 (2008.0) Firefox/2.0.0.11 Build Identifier: 2.0.0.6 (20070914) Can't send Cyrillic named files via OpenOffice's button " Document as email". It is explained very detailed in the URL. Issue is closed as not OpenOffice bug. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create some document in OO (writer, presentation, calc...) and save it with cyrilic characters. 2.In OO click on "Document as email" button (Thunderbird must be defined as default email client) 3. In attachment field you'll notice that name of the documents has been changed. 4. Click "Send" Actual Results: Sending of document failed. Unable to open temporary file /path/to/tmp/funy_named_document.ods. Check your 'Temporary Dyrectory' settings. (see screenshot in above URL) Expected Results: To send the email with correct cyrilic named document. Under Windows XP you can actually send the document, but with funny name instead of correct one.
.
Must be something with the process passing in the attachment. If I attach the file using attach, it works fine.
(In reply to comment #2) > Must be something with the process passing in the attachment. If I attach the > file using attach, it works fine. > Yes it is. But with Evolution and Kmail as default mail clients it works perfectly.
