A non-well-formed RSS feed can break appearance of the View Feed page and prevent users from subscribing to the feed.

The errors (at the time of reporting) are erroneous inclusion of HTML meta elements within RSS elements.

These should not break the UI but rather cause an error message.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
attempt to subscribe to attached RSS feed.
Actual Results:  
'View Feed' page appears mangled — see attached screenshot — and Subscribe button is inoperative.

Expected Results:  
Feed displayed with errors ignored or feed not displayed at all but subscription function still available.
