I am having trouble accessing fennec on svn.mozilla.org through ssh. Basically I get "Permission denied (publickey)". Accessing people.mozilla.com works fine.

You probably have the wrong username for svn... it should use your full email address I believe. Both are pulling the key from the same place, so the key matching on one and not on the other shouldn't be possible.

When I do this: ssh csejersen@mozilla.com@svn.mozilla.org
Could not chdir to home directory : No such file or directory
You are not allowed to use this system, go away!

Try ssh csejersen%40mozilla.com@svn.mozilla.org
or even better look at http://wiki.mozilla.org/SVN#Linux specifically .ssh/config

Actually, after double checking you don't have access to Sub version. Was there a bug filed for access to it?

bah, this bug. I guess the title threw me off.

Do you have a CVS contributor form on file?

Comment 13•18 years ago
|
||
I don't, why do I need one for svn access?
Comment 14•18 years ago
|
||
jeremy, the point of using SVN was to avoid some of this. christian needs access to the SVN repo that I own. Please hook him up.

I'm pretty sure that a CVS form is required. Dave or Marcia would you confirm this?
Comment 17•18 years ago
|
||
Yes, until MoFo provides us with a new VCS-agnostic contributor form, all users contributing code in any of the three VCSs Mozilla supports (CVS, SVN, Hg) need to fill out the CVS Contributor Form located at http://www.mozilla.org/hacking/form.html and send it to Marcia for her records.

We should document this policy somewhere so it is clear what purposes a CVS Form is being used for.

Why can't we just fix bug 342029, and be done with it? :)
