Could someone that is registered please attach a minimal test case of the behaviour on that page to this bug?

This was fixed in bug 378407.  I don't think there are any plans to fix it
for Firefox 2.x which only takes security and crash fixes at this point.
Feel free to verify it works as expected in a Firefox 3 beta build:
