Summary: "homepage" should read "home page" in TITLE attribute on application logo Mozilla style is to say "home page", rather than the singular "homepage". See http://support.mozilla.com/kb/How+to+set+the+home+page and the Firefox 3/2 versions. The code in question is in the "branding" <div>, here: <a href="/en-US/firefox/" title="Return to the Firefox Add-ons homepage"> <img src="/img/app-icons/firefox-header.png" alt="Firefox" > Firefox Add-ons</a> /me waves to fligtar
Those occurrences of "home page" refer to a browser's start page. That's a different definition than the main page of a particular website, or webpage.
Meh; http://mozilla.focalcurve.com/ got it wrong too, then. http://people.mozilla.com/~madhava/files/amo/2007-11-21/ can't possibly specify tooltips, but Madhava can :-)
In other areas of AMO we use "homepage" so to be consistent, let's just keep it. If this comes up again I will be very irritated but will be impressively passive-aggressive about it.
Heaven knows irritating morgamic is not something I like to do often, if at all; Justin Fligtar, OTOH, I try to annoy as often as possible.
fligtar is an anagram for dangerous, among other things.
