Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-AT; rv:1.8.1.11) Gecko/20071128 SeaMonkey/1.1.7

Seamonkey will crash on me anytime if i am trying to start a download, as soon as the drive on which the last download was stored on is no longer available. This will also happen with network drives, meaning that every time i stored something before on a network drive successfully, and i am trying to download something else with no connection to the network (-drive), it will crash.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download something (even a webpage as HTML) onto a network drive
2. Disconnect the network drive
3. Download something else
Actual Results:
Crash

Expected Results:
Noticed the previous drive is not present any longer, and offer all existing drives for download instead.

This bug was only confirmed on my Toshiba TECRA laptop with WinXP and can not be reconfirmed on any other machine right now (no access to any). This is a buggy piece of **** (no Toshiba, no more), so i would not be astonished if it happened only here.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 SeaMonkey/1.1.8

I only get an errormessage that the drive doesn't exist, and after confirming the Download Manager pops up. I've tested this using removable media, an USB stick. Maybe it would crash using a real harddrive.

What are your settings in
Edit->Preferences->Navigator->Downloads ?

Mine are:

When starting a download
[x] Open the download manager
..
[x] Prompt for download location and default to:
    [x] Last download folder
    [ ] specified download folder

Current download folder:
G: there used to be the USB stick

Please test if it also crashes if the removed drive is an USB stick.
Work around for this bug would be changimg the setting to
 [x] specified download folder
but thats not a fix, the browser shouldn't crash if the harddisk was removed, or does this harddisk also contain cache, or the profile?
