User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b3) Gecko/2008020513 Firefox/3.0b3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b3) Gecko/2008020513 Firefox/3.0b3 When typing in the search-field somtimes artifacts stay till the textfield-backgournd is re-painted. I have not seen this behaviour with other text-fields than the serach-field, thats why I assigned it to "search", however it could be a geneic bug somewhere in the textfield or font-rendering implementation. The artifacts look like parts of the cursor, see the image attached. I am using the DeJaVu-Fonts and Fedora7 (updated some weeks ago). Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the search field 2. type some word that are contained in the text (= background may not change, otherwise artifact is overpainted). 3.-> artifact, looks like part of the cursor Actual Results: artifact, looks like part of the cursor Expected Results: no artifacts Fedora7, Intel-945GM, cairo-1.2.?
