When building XR, we should only ship what is required. There is about 7mbs of content -- i am sure that some of it can be trimmed out if we aren't building FF or TB. For 1.8, we did something like: http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla1.8/source/toolkit/profile/jar.mn#2 We should take a similar or better approach for the trunk.
This bug is about minimal embedding profiles specifically, correct?
right. that is what we should use to key what we put into jars.
since this is about the minimal embeddding profile, and fennec+I are not using that => to default.

This bug is about minimal embedding profile, which is dead AFAIK. For modern work on reducing jar bloat, see bug 1316187.
