iTunes is standard mediaplayer. for exemple:
this link(
www.emusic.com/samples/m3u/song/11053379/15515617.m3u)works in Safari but not in FireFox 2.0.0.12
Itunes opens but the song don't appear and can't be played
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
click on for exemple:
www.emusic.com/samples/m3u/song/11053379/15515617.m3u
Firefox opens but nothing happens
Expected Results:
playing audio
older versions Firefox no problem. It still works with safari
It sounds like the mimetype for .m3u is mixed up. Go to Firefox>Preferences>Content>Manage and tell Firefox to use iTunes for the .m3u extension.
i have told Firefox to use iTunes for the .m3u extension, but it still don't work.
Firefox opens iTunes but nothing else happens. Even the song dont appear in the list.
No problems Quicktime player and Realplayer when I tell Firefox to use iTunes them the .m3u extension.
When I use Safari it works very well.

If Itnues is launching, then there should be nothing wrong with the helper apps config.
