just installed 2000060608, and now the tooltips don't appear at all. there's just the beep! And by the way, The "file" button doesn't do this.

Christos: This sounds similar to bug# 41713 but is this one specific to the text below the button and not the tooltip? I've been unable to reproduce the problem because the text remains and the tooltips also remain. Using build 2000-06-05-08M16, Linux 6.0, kde 1.1.1.
I can't reproduce this using 60708 moz verification build. resolving as wfm, if you still see this please reopen with sufficient information to reproduce.
