User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 Firefox/2.0.0.12
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 Firefox/2.0.0.12
This error occurred while trying to load a video from a Yahoo! news source via a JS window. The error is a typical Windows stop message of C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe with an error code of R6034. The message is "An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more information." A full URL of this story is at:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080211/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/us_navy_russian_bombers
click the video at the top left showing the overflight of a U.S. carrier by a Russian Tupolev Tu-95 bomber. (Entitled "Russian planes buzz USS Nimitz")(Note that the Yahoo page sources CNN.com for the video, but the video is actually located on Yahoo.) This error occurred with Firefox 2.0.0.12. just updated.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Problem does not affect Opera V9.25 (stable) IE 6.x untested
2. Windows XP SP1 (1a to be exact) with Flash 9.0.115.0 installed
3. Not reproducable on an XP2 SP2 system at same location (though video wouldn't play-just no runtime error).
4. The affected system appears to have the latest MFC runtime libraries but due to application installation, may have a slightly older version of MFC. Nonetheless, the nature of the error is troubling as an invalid function call should cause another error.
Actual Results:
1. Windows XP SP1 (1a).
2. With Flash 9.0.115.0 installed, try to load the video at the aforementioned link.
Expected Results:
Was able to click out of the error and close the affected page.
Played the video in a pop-up Window using a Flash-based control.
Elmar, can you please retest with the latest Flash 10 plugin? Does the error still occurs? Does it only happen for Flash movies?

I didn't report this and I don't see it, I just marked the almost identical report in bug 416954 as a duplicate of this.
