I use session restore constantly, it is a great feature and usually it works. Apart from a sometimes slow start up time that is easily forgiven.

However I have encountered this bug multiple times, increasingly on two separate machines, two separate Firefox installs both up to date on Windows XP SP2.

After a restore, when I open the Bookmarks Sidebar with Ctrl+B, or I use Optimoz Tweaks, the display is incomplete - the bookmarks will be there, with their favicons showing but the hierarchy is incorrectly displayed. Sometimes the expand/collapse buttons are missing, or the little dotted lines that show folder hierarchy.

I cannot reproduce it reliably.

Reproducible: Sometimes
I'll test this out tomorrow. I'll get a screenshot if it occurs.

Image of the bookmark sidebar, illustrating the bug

The attached image is missing: folder icons, some favicons and expand colapse widgets/buttons.
The bookmark sidebar has been completely rewritten for Firefox 3.0.

Jonathan: Does this still happen after updating to the latest Firefox version (ATM 3.0.1)?
Closing as INCOMPLETE due to missing answer to comment #5.

Jonathan: Please reopen should the issue still be reproducible with the latest version of Firefox 3 (and ideally without any extensions involved).
