Have to necessarily type the status message , and click outside for it to take effect.Enter key not being accepted for the status message in gchat integrated with gmail Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.use google talk chat window within Gmail 2.enter a different status message 3.now without moving mouse or anything, click the enter key. 4.Will not take the input Actual Results: it remains in the status message input text box without understanding the enter-key input Expected Results: after hitting enter key, status message should be accepted
Same problem with beta 4
This problem is still present in Beta 5.

I think this problem has now been fixed, presumably by Google.
Does this still happen in in firefox 3.6.6 or later in a fresh profile?

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.8 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
