User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 Firefox/2.0.0.12 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 Firefox/2.0.0.12 I know this I'm not reporting this to the right department, but this is the closest I saw listed for spell-checker bugs. Anyways, This has been a problem of mine for a while where the spell checker will give weird and very dissimilar suggestions when right-clicking on a red-underlined (misspelled) word in a form. However, this is the first time I've seen it this bad. The word was "abillity" and it suggests "referencing" and "ability" in that order. (In fact, it's doing it right now in this form :P) I have a screen shot in case you cannot reproduce it right away. thanks Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Type "abillity" in a web form 2. right click on the misspelled word Actual Results: The right-click menu suggests "referencing" and "ability" in that order. Expected Results: I dunno, something like "ability" as the only result, and maybe other words which have similar structures...? :) I don't see a way to attach files, so I will host the image on my webspace at: http://memotype.net/stuff/mozilla-spell-check-bug.png Thanks

Marking as duplicate of the bug# 413950 which I filled a few weeks ago. In summary, try Firefox 3 Beta 3 or the latest Nightly and you will see a big difference! -Mike
