At my works I often switch from proxy environment to non proxy environment. Minefield doesn't seems to detect that. Shouldn't it do that?
When I switch from proxy environment to non proxy environment I get a page load error.
If restartet Minefield works just fine. So I have to restart to get have the proxy detection "restartet".
My proxy setting is set to "auto detect proxy"
Can I proxy a nspr log or something to help?
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b4pre) Gecko/2008021404 Minefield/3.0b4pre ID:2008021404
How do you "switch" environments? What might not be happening is that your PAC file (in the proxy environment) might still be in use.

I change by changing the wireless network to another network.
IE seems to either register this change and find out that the proxy is now unavailable and then just uses "non proxy".
It works fine in IE, but Firefox seems to be using the old proxy (which is unableable)
Does this explain a little more?
When you switch networks, your PAC doesn't automatically reload. What is the exact error? is it:
Unable to find the proxy server
Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that can't be found.

network configuration as no proxy changes to manual after closing browser and reopening it causing pages cannot be loaded. This is in Firefox 3. I have to go back to Network configuration and change proxy back from manual to no proxies to be able to browse the internet.
Hi.
I have similar error but in my Firefox appears Time Limit Page.
I prepare one doc with details.
