Sisyphus scripts write FATAL ERROR whenever they encounter something which stops the test run. It would be really nice, if buildbot could send FAIL to tinderbox to turn the run red.

Given that this a Buildbot -> Tinderbox specific issue, has had no traction, and we're dropping Tinderbox in the forseeable future, I'm going to close this.
