User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b4pre) Gecko/2008021504 Minefield/3.0b4pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b4pre) Gecko/2008021504 Minefield/3.0b4pre I noticed that whenever I try and load up google reader now, it takes forever. The browser locks up and becomes unresponsive and it takes a minute or two before it unhangs itself and loads the page. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

Am seeing the same on both Windows and Linux.
Confirmed. I also see this with google docs as well.

It looks like the memory usage jumps by about 300MB when Firefox loads these web pages. My laptop doesn't have a lot of memory (384MB I think) so it spends the next minute or so just paging. My Linux desktop has more memory so the symptoms are less severe.
I also see this on Mac OS X (10.4.11)
Seems to be fixed in 2008021704.
Yeah. They fixed some javascript errors in this build and it all seems fine and dandy now.
