User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b3) Gecko/2008020513 Firefox/3.0b3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b3) Gecko/2008020513 Firefox/3.0b3

A blank tool tip is always displayed below the cursor no matter what web page I am on (even blank pages). If I stop moving my mouse anywhere in the Firefox web page area, the blank tool tip will show up. It does not show on any tool bars.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Firefox 3.0b3.
2. Move cursor anywhere in web page viewing area.
3. Pause cursor movement, and small blank tool tip shows up.
Actual Results:
Blank tool tip still displayed even though I'm hovering over a blank page.

Expected Results:
NOT display a blank tool tip.

I've disabled all of my extensions. I don't know if this is linux-specific (ubuntu 7.10), or just a bug in the 3.0b3 of Firefox. Here is a screenshot: http://i28.tinypic.com/25fn0ck.png
Can be a side effect of an extension e.g. Site Advisor. Does it also happen in safe-mode?
I have the same problem in Firefox 3.5 Preview (version 3.5b99) in Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. However, in my case it is not a yellow blank tool tip, it is a white one.
Here is a screenshot (while not in safe mode): http://i43.tinypic.com/29oofvn.jpg

It looks like it must be caused by an extension. I just put Firefox in safe mode and I am unable to reproduce it.

It looks like it is caused by Google Toolbar 5.0.20090122Wb2. The latest version (5.0.20090324W), however, does not cause this problem.
