If you have a message posting that have japanesse chars in the subject the
subject doesn't get bold for an unread message.
Try this:
subscribe to the newsgroup:
netscape.public.dev.mysidebar
on the newsserver:
secnews.netscape.com
now look at the two latest posted messages, getting shown as "??????????" in the
subject.
The subject is not in bold even though the mail is unread. The rest of the
header info in in bold, like Sender, Date, etc...
The subject is this:
Subject: =?iso-2022-jp?B?GyRCJCokKiQrJE0kYiQmJDEjNRsoQg==?=
Even if you go to the message and Mark it unread the subject still gets shown
unbolded!

This now worksforme with 20000726. This must have been fixed together with some
other "unbolded" bugs.
The message now renders japanese chars in both threadpane and message pane, and
gets unbolded when reading it.

I agree with gemal.
It is working right now. I did not look at the problem before this
and so it is quite possible that it had a problem at one time.
In any case, marking it verified as wroksforme.
