I went to import my address book from Eudora 7.1.0.9, and it failed with error. No other indication was given. When I tried installing straight Thunderbird about 10 days ago, it did successfully import my Eudora address book (but it had real problems with importing mail, so I didn't use it).

It was 100% reproducible. Not one address was imported. This is one of the reasons I uninstalled it. I could not use the product.

Now that 8.0.0b3 has been release (http://wiki.mozilla.org/Eudora_Releases) I think this problem should be fixed. If not, please open a new bug report with as much detail about what does and does not get imported.
