User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 SeaMonkey/1.1.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.12) Gecko/20080201 SeaMonkey/1.1.8 Several web pages display a problem in SeaMonkey wherein the fields overlap and often cover the "search" button. The effect can be seen on the USairways flight finder and the stock research tab in www.investing.schwab.com . These sites look OK when viewed with FireFox. It appears that SeaMonkey is calling a larger font than FireFox which causes the "overrun" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Log into the two sites listed 2. 3. Actual Results: Overlap or over write of affected fields Expected Results: SeaMonkey should display sites like FireFox
US Airway site is http://www.usairways.com/awa/ Delta Air site is: http://www.delta.com/home/index.jsp These are public access versus Schwab client site Both SeaMonkey 1.1.8 and Firefox 2.0.0.12 are latest release Text used in SeaMonkey display seems larger and may contribute to the problem
I believe I have resolved my problem. In preferences/appearance/fonts - my minimum font size was set to 14 or 16. In FireFox - tools/options/ Fonts and colors/advanced the minimum font size was set to "none". When I set Sea Monkey in a similar manner i.e. "none" or 12 the problem was gone.
