Might be a Google problem but I don't think so.

After hitting home perhaps twice, my usual Google front page seemed damaged such that things were missing like current temperature in my home town. And searching from the Google box on the upper right of my window failed entirely before that. Searching on the front page worked fine, but clicking on any result only got me a blank page on a new tab, no contents. And trying to report the problem on a Google feedback page got a 404. 

I wish I had a way to capture enough of the relevant bits so you could tell what the problem was but I don't think I do. I'd be happy to run a bigger, slower binary which had logging and dumping built in so I could be of some real help when I notice this kind of weird ****.

This is a mass search for bugs that are in the Firefox General component, are
UNCO, and have not been changed for 800 days and have an unspecified version. 

Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10, create a fresh profile,
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you
still see the bug, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the
resolution to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
