attachment icon trimmed if rightmost column in thread pane.  display is 1680x1050.
icon too big or not centered in column?

tested but don't I don't see trimming with flagged, and read columns

Classic or Modern theme:
visually, it seems the icon could be right-aligned instead of centered,
but other than that, I could not reproduce.

Maybe triggered by something else, maybe 2000<->Vista, ... ?
Which theme are you using ?

I just tested on XP and don't see it there. I'll bet w2k is same. I reconfirm I see this in vista

I think the situation in vista is caused by two things 
a) the column selector widget not being as wide as the scrollbar 
b) what I see in Thunderbird vista with bug 439628 - the icons in column header and column contents are not centered.  (I'm not going to retest this with SM - in attachment 320495 [details] one can see the column contents are not centered)

In addition, I'll bet the truncation next to scrollbar can be made even worse by changing scrollbar width.  I'm not sure how to do this in vista, but in XP the change is done via ...

control panel > display properties > advanced > item=scrollbar, increase size

maybe a theme issue, but confirming since I don't know another SM vista user.

With default settings now the icon is on the left side and not cropped

With Modern theme and column in the end, the icon is not cropped.

But in the default theme if column is on the right, it is still cropped, thus the bug is still valid in such scenario.
