RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 314279

People

(Reporter: justdave, Unassigned)

Details

version 2.0.0.13pre (20080227)

Steps to reproduce:

1) Open Thunderbird on a Mac Book Pro (in my case, perhaps other machines have this issue as well) without an external monitor attached.
2) Attach an external monitor to the DVI port.
3) Move the Thunderbird window onto the external monitor.
4) Hover the mouse over a folder with unread messages or right click on anything that has a context menu
5) observe the context menu or tooltip appears in the upper-right corner of the laptop's built-in screen instead of overtop of where the mouse pointer is.
C'mon over to the trunk, you know you want to. As far as I know, we haven't even had a "can't send mail" bug for two days straight!

heh. No wonder I didn't find that bug, it was against the browser, and just happened to affect TB too. ;)

I've been debating it. Too much of my life is in TB right now to chance having it break :) Especially since it's starting to sound like there's going to be some more major upheaval before TB3.
