For Fx2, the behavior of right-click opens the URL in the window. If we cant do a right-click context menu cause of design issues, we should at least support the same behavior as Fx2.

In addition to the bug in this ticket, right-click also doesn't work on a bookmark in the overflow menu past the chevron on the right-side of the personal toolbar. The following ticket was for Windows Firefox, but this is also a problem on Firefox Mac. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=238964

(In reply to comment #6) > Still there on Firefox 3.1b3 Yes, and that's not helpful since this bug is still not marked as FIXED. Please read https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=etiquette.html

I voted for this since the duplicate Bug 300710 is rated too low (Enhancement, P4). I commented there on why it should be rated "Normal," as this bug is.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
