I can read instructions, and research online. Would the Console2 app have blasted away these problems? Firefox broswer: Pages dont load, or load soooooo slowly. Toggling Back< Forward> is an occasional "help." Mozilla is INSANELY buggy, basically unusable on this server: the Boston Public Library's. I thought it might be my firewall or virus-ware - they insist its Mozilla. I can reproduce these results anytime, if anyone wants to see all the "Error Console" reports. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch browser 2. Try to open page 3. Sit staring at computer, fuming (LOL) Actual Results: Clearing cache may or may not help. Restarting, ditto. If a page loads, Praise Zeus! and sacrifice a young virgin. Memo to Red States: Send more virgins! Expected Results: In Browser Hell, do you expect the temperature to rise?
Bugzilla is not a place for enduser support, we have http://support.mozilla.com. The errors in the error console you are seeing should be only errors in the visited webpages itself and such errors can be the cause of rendering errors. Your report is also bad from the technical description. Do you get the same problem with the Firefox safemode : http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode ? Do you have this on all pages or only on some URLs ? Which connection to the internet do you have and do you use wlan for your connection ? Do you have the same problem with another browser (IE, Opera) at the same time ? Which Firewall and which anti-virus software do you use ? How many Ram and what kind of cpu do you have ?
This bug was originally reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.6 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.8 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
